United Restoration and Preservation, Inc. was contracted in late 2013 to complete an Exterior Façade Restoration to the 6-story apartment complex. The exterior restoration package included; the complete removal of the existing stucco system and the exterior densglass sheathing. Scheduling and coordination with the homeowners was paramount in the success of the project.
United Restoration coordinated the replacement of the exterior envelope to include the installation of new fiberglass sheathing, vapor permeable waterproofing system, new window flashings and a new 5/8” stucco façade system.
The new stucco system included the introduction of much-needed control joints to ensure the life of the façade. Also included as part of the restoration project was structural concrete repairs to the intermediate levels of the parking deck and installation of pedestrian and vehicular deck coating systems.
