This is a commendation for United Restoration & Waterproofing. Georgia Tech has contracted with them on multiple projects via multiple delivery methods – hard bid, direct award and as a subcontractor to General Contractors. On all of the projects they have completed for Georgia Tech they have done an outstanding job. In addition, they are always available if issues arise. They are open and honest about their limitations (for example they will let you know if they do not have the resources to tackle a project) and they always do what they indicate that they will do. They consistently exhibit professionalism and knowledge. They are not afraid to challenge a proposed methodology if they believe an alternate system to be in the best interest of the project. They do it right the first time and their punch lists are minimal. They are an excellent Owner’s advocate and partner.

I have experience on several projects with URP personally, as well as, a consultant within my company. They have installed both our waterproofing deck coatings, pedestrian and vehicular, as well as our epoxy resinous flooring systems. All projects that I have been involved with have been successfully installed, and to my knowledge have performed exceptionally to date. United Restoration is a NEOGARD “licensed applicator” which designates them as quality contractor that understands all aspects of our systems with regards to surface preparation, and systems installation. This is a process that they did extra efforts to achieve, and shows their commitment to quality.
