Project Profile -stanton hall 1

PROJECT SUMMARY

Built in the 1850s, it is one of the most opulent antebellum mansions to survive
in the southeastern United States. It is now operated as a historic house
museum by the Pilgrimage Garden Club. The house was declared a National
Historic Landmark in 1974.

United Restoration assisted in a design build delivery of the restoration of this
historic civil war era homestead. The exterior stucco had begun to fail as a
result of structural deficiencies found within the cornice and parapet. United
completed a complete rebuild of the masonry parapet and stucco cover,
structural reinforcement of the masonry cornice, repairs of architectural stucco
elements (such as dental molds and soffit areas) and full column restoration at
the building grand entrance.
