HISTORIC RESTORATION

  • The Garden Theater

    The Rebuild Included the installation of a new reinforced CMU back up wall, and a new galvanized steel support structure.

  • Andrew Carnegie Building

    Work focused on tuck-point and clean 100% of the brick / limestone facade as well as prominent restoration included the modification of multiple historic windows to accommodate the original wood jambs, sashes, sills, and headers.

  • Blue Stone Lofts

    The project consisted of masonry restoration, installation of through wall flashings and waterproofing systems, removal and replacement of the roof, coping stone replacement, façade recladding, waterproof coating, new handrails, and electrical upgrades.

  • Stanton Hall

    A complete rebuild of the masonry parapet and stucco cover, and structural reinforcement of the masonry cornice, repairs of architectural stucco elements (such as dental molds and soffit areas) and full column restoration at the building grand entrance.

  • One Capital Square

    Installed a vapor permeable waterproofing membrane on the back-up wall construction. The Installation of the marble pieces required that they be installed in the exact locations, including the orientation of the veining of the marble pieces. 

  • Jackson Barracks Historic Garrisons

    The restoration scope included 100% tuckpointing of the exterior masonry (45,000 sf), replacement of deteriorated brick units (42,000) and historic masonry cleaning. All work was performed per The National Park Service Historical Briefs & Guidelines.

  • Hipolito Courthouse

    Remove/restore existing limestone and replace, furnish new limestone to match as necessary and as shown on plans, furnish and install new limestone parapet cap, furnish and install new stone at exterior wall.

  • East Feliciana Courthouse

    Work included paint stripping (S301), column capital repair (M70), removal of existing stucco at selected locations, installation of a new stucco system (M60), and application of Cathedral Stone Product’s mineral based “Silin Silith” coating.

  • AT&T Building

    The full scope that included; terra cotta replacement, terra cotta patching and glazing, shelf angle replacement, tuckpointing, masonry repair anchors, flashing, and historical cleaning.

  • Academy of Medicine

    Exterior stucco required extensive crack repair, stucco spall repair, full stucco replacement at the exterior chimney surfaces and miscellaneous decorative repair at trim and window surrounds.
