The Russell B. Long Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse is located in Baton
Rouge within the former Victory Park district. The historic district of the city is
home to the former federal courthouse, built in 1932. The new courthouse
was constructed as an annex to this original, which was completed in 1933.
United Restoration was contracted to perform joint sealant replacements at
existing precast panels, window perimeter sealant replacement, wet glazing,
building exterior cleaning, and the application of a water repellant to the
precast surfaces. This contract also included historical cleaning and window
perimeter sealant replacement to the historic courthouse which adjoins the
above courthouse building.
