Waco Historic Bridge

The historic Waco Suspension Bridge was completed in 1870 and remains a legendary icon of downtown Waco. Many improvements were made during the recent rehabilitation project, which was completed in April 2023. United was selected to complete the masonry and stucco restoration required on the historic structures. The repairs to the masonry structure included; grout injection, repointing of mortar joints, rebuilding of failed wall sections, and crack stitching and repair. The historic stucco required patching, cleaning and coating at exterior and interior walls. Additionally, United completed concrete structural repairs at the retaining walls and bearing corbels.
