Built-in 1930, the 11-story neo-Gothic tower with views of downtown San Antonio was once a grand hotel where the wealthy, including Hollywood star Mamie, stayed. Situated on the western edge of Crockett Park it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places but has in modern times begun to show its age. United Restoration was chosen to complete selective restoration of the exterior in the fall of 2022. Working hand in hand with the design team, United helped develop repair procedures for stone cleaning, tuckpointing, stone repairs, façade cleaning, glass replacement, historic metal window restoration, and glazing replacement.
